Payment Policy

No additional Charge for months with 5 weeks when lessons are purchased as a package. This is due to an annual 2 week vacation built into the lesson plan. During that time, material may be given for students to work on, with periodic ‘check-ins’, but no formal lessons will be given.

Orpheus Academy does not offer a free trial. Our "First Time Student" trial month includes a built-in 30-day cancellation notice, offering you flexibility. This ensures that no recurring charges will apply should you decide not to continue with lessons beyond the trial month. Prompt payment of the tuition fee for lessons is still expected as this allows me (the owner) to pay my instructors for their time and expertise.

Ongoing Lessons will be billed via invoice on a monthly basis. Invoices will be sent out in the 1st of the month and payment is expected before the first lesson of the month.

Make Up Lesson Policy:

Instructor Make Up Lessons are to be scheduled on an individual basis between instructor and student. If, within a 2 month time frame, a make-up lesson is unable to be scheduled, a credit will be given on the next month's lesson plan.

If you miss your lesson, the price of that lesson will still be expected. Please refer to the make-up policy above.

Cancellation Policy:

There is no long term contract. Please allow for 1 month’s notice if you plan to withdraw yourself or your student from lessons. This gives the instructor time to fill your time slot and adequately prepare for the ending series of lessons.

Lesson Policies

  • Students are expected to dedicate at least 15 minutes per day to practice.

  • Students are expected to be respectful of the instructor's time, and arrive to lesson in a timely manner.

  • If more than 10 minutes has passed in a lesson without any communication from the student, it will be assumed to be a no-show. The prior week's assignment will be assumed as student's continuing practice.

  • If there is an issue with an instructor before/during/after lesson, please attempt to resolve that issue directly with the instructor. If no resolution can be reached, then contact the owner at:
